DATA PROTECTION AND TECHNICAL AIDS
All data requested by the operator in various forms are used for purely official technical purposes. Personal information is not passed on to third parties.
Logging
The RRZE web server is maintained by the RRZE web team. Whenever a web page or a linked object is requested, the following access data is stored:
- the address (URL) of the web page from which the file was requested
- the name of the requested file
- the date and time of the request
- the amount of data transferred
- the access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
- the description of the type of web browser or operating system used
- the IP address of the requesting computer.
The stored data is used exclusively for technical or statistical purposes; it is not compared with other data or passed on to third parties, even in excerpts.
After evaluation of the accesses, the logged data is deleted. The evaluation takes place daily, the deletion of the accesses takes place after 15 days.
Analysis services
Our website uses Piwik, which is a so-called web analysis service. Piwik uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. For this purpose, the usage information generated by the cookie (including your shortened IP address) is transmitted to our server and stored for usage analysis purposes, which serves to optimize the website on our part.
